Exotic bird theft investigation led to recovery, suspect arrested

Police announced Wednesday that one of two exotic birds stolen from a Concord pet store last month has been found and reunited with its owner, and at least one suspect has been arrested. NBC Bay Area’s Raj Mathai spoke with Mercedes Kemp, the owner of Feathered Follies, to understand why people steal exotic birds.
