The Oakland Police Department is asking for help in finding a missing mother and son.
Mikala King and her son King Scott, who police say are missing due to unknown circumstances, were last seen on Sept. 24 in Oakland. A more specific location was not provided by police.
King, 29, is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Scott, 5, is 3 feet tall and weighs 35 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Both King and Scott are in good physical and mental condition, police said.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call the police department's missing persons unit at 510-238-3641.
