Social media campaign launched to change Oakland narrative

A new social media campaign, “Oakland Is Better In Person,” was launched to draw more people back to Oakland. The campaign hopes to change the narrative, highlight the city’s culture and businesses, and promote why it’s a beautiful place to live, work, and visit. NBC Bay Area’s Raj Mathai spoke with Charlese Banks, owner of The Town Experience, to better understand the campaign’s mission.
