A woman reportedly armed with a gun was arrested near the Bay Bridge toll plaza Tuesday evening, prompting major traffic delays in the eastbound direction.
The California Highway Patrol said just before 5 p.m. it started to receive reports of a woman who had exited her car naked and was brandishing a firearm. Shots were reportedly fired, but the CHP wasn't able to immediately confirm those reports.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the woman walking naked on the freeway, the CHP said. She was taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
