The eastbound lanes of Interstate 580 were blocked in Oakland due to a shooting on Saturday that left two injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at around 2 p.m. on eastbound I-580 near Seminary Avenue. Caltrans cameras showed heavy traffic in the area.
Eastbound I-580 remains closed. The CHP says there is no estimated time for reopening the road.
Traffic from southbound SR-13 is being diverted to westbound I-580, away from the scene.
