NBC Sports has teamed up with Dolby to enable Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos during its production of the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics, July 24-August 11, and August 28-September 8, respectively.

For 36 years, NBCUniversal has been the Olympics broadcaster and US rights holder of the Olympic Games, with consistent dedication to delivering the best viewing experience possible to engage and delight Olympics viewers. This year is no exception, with NBC Sports providing at least nine hours of daytime coverage throughout the Summer Games’ most exciting events, and Peacock serving as the streaming home of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos deliver a spectacular and immersive sports entertainment experience that brings you closer to the action from the comfort of your home. This, combined with premium content from NBCU, offers fans the next best experience to being at the games.

Local NBC stations are now providing an enhanced NextGen TV experience with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. So if you can't make it to the City of Light, you can still experience every heart-stopping moment in the lifelike colors, sharp contrast and rich detail of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos–from the diver's splash to the roar of the crowds, and every triumphant moment in between.

For fans in cities with NextGen TV service (the latest broadcast standard that offers enhanced audio, video, and interactive features), including the Bay Area, watching is easy. All you need is a NEXTGEN TV, Dolby capable device, and an HD antenna and you can tune into your NBC local station to get into the action. Look for a "NextGen TV" and Dolby logos on your television or check your TV's specifications.

Paris 2024 will also present a first for NBCUniversal’s streaming home of the Olympics: for the first time ever, Peacock will deliver Olympics coverage in Dolby Atmos. Those who have Dolby Atmos enabled TVs, soundbars or home entertainment systems, and subscribe to a participating distributor, will be able to bring home the thrill of the competitions with the immersive sound experience of Dolby Atmos. In addition, NBCUniversal's USA Network will provide 24/7 coverage of the Olympics in 4K Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos audio, which consumers can enjoy where available. The incredible depth, clarity, and detail allows fans to feel the electricity of the games like never before.

With these experiences, Dolby is transforming the sports-at-home experience from fencing to football. As more and more top sports content becomes available in Dolby, and more Dolby enabled devices come to market at all price points, now is the perfect time to level up your game.
