Woman falls Down 10-20 Feet Near Cliff House

A woman who fell 20 to 30 feet down a cliff near the Cliff House restaurant in San Francisco this morning has been taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries, a fire department spokeswoman said today.

Firefighters were called just before 9 a.m. to an area near the restaurant at 1090 Point Lobos Ave. on a report of a female who had fallen, according to fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge.

The woman was hurt in the fall but her injuries did not appear to be life threatening, fire officials said. Talmadge did not have a update on her condition late this morning.

The woman was brought up around 10:05 a.m. and firefighters cleared the scene at 10:32 a.m.
