Fires Near Highway 24 Prompt Evacuations in Lafayette

Two “rapidly expanding” fires on each side of state Highway 24 in Lafayette prompted evacuations Sunday, according to a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District spokesman. Melissa Colorado reports.
