The people over at Color must have really had inflated egos back when they received $41 million in venture capital, because when Google offered them $200 million, they said no.
According to TechCrunch, the search giant offered Bill Nguyen, founder of Color, $200 million shortly before its launch.
Now, Color has become a bit of joke in technology circles as this app that was given so much money, but was a colossal flop. Perhaps Google dodged a bullet there, and Color is kicking themselves.
According to Color they are on to bigger and better things, so we'll have to stay tuned to see what they do next.
