The Lord Mayor of Dublin set off for a cycling trip around San Jose Sunday.
Bike riders met at City Hall Saturday morning, marking the second year of San Jose's bike ride with sister-city Dublin.
The seven-mile ride highlighted downtown landmarks, bike ways, and other city improvements.
Bike organizers added Irish tunes to the play list in honor of their Irish dignitary.
This is also the first San Jose trip for the Lord Mayor of Dublin.
"Fantastic trip. A real buzz my first trip to San Jose," Dublin Lord Mayor Oisín Quinn said. "Got to see the San Jose Sharks play...now cycling around with this fantastic group here...beautiful, beautiful city. A great honor."

"We need more people on their bikes and out of their cars...the paths are there... waiting...just getting on a bike is the hardest part," bike rider Linda said.
Sunday's ride is part of the monthly San Jose bike party, celebrating the city and the cycling culture.
