Jon Stewart to Occupy Oakland: Use Peer Pressure

Comedian offers advice to deal with violent element in movement.

There is little doubt that Oakland has become ground zero of the Occupy movement.

But with that attention comes the eyes of the world and one man who has Oakland in his cross hairs is comedian Jon Stewart.

For the second time in a week, the political satirist takes aim at the Occupy Oakland movement for not being able to round in a rogue element that destroyed storefronts during Wednesday's general strike.

"I know it's not all of you...it's a small number of you...but you will always be judged by your worst elements, and it's very tough to wrangle a leaderless movement," he said.

But Stewart doesn't leave the protesters hanging. He offers a suggestion to deal with the violent fringe element: Peer pressure.
