The Jerusalem Fire in Northern California's Lake County, which is burning six miles south of the Rocky Fire, more than doubled overnight to 12,000 acres, Cal Fire said.
By Tuesday morning, the fire, which had charred 5,000 the day before, was not contained. A total of 50 structures were threatened.
