M2.6 Earthquake Strikes Near San Leandro: USGS

A preliminary 2.6 magnitude earthquake struck Saturday evening near San Leandro, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The earthquake, which was centered about 2 miles north of San Leandro struck at around 6:08 p.m., the USGS said.

No other information was immediately available.
