BART service was suspended on the San Francisco line on Saturday morning, following an equipment problem and a major medical emergency at Embarcadero.

BART advisories first warned of 10-minute delays at 8:40 a.m. The Embarcadero station was closed about 15 minutes later and service was suspended by 9:10 a.m.

BART posted on social media just before 11 a.m. that the station was reopened and it resumed normal service.

In San Francisco, SF Muni buses are providing service between Embarcadero and Daly City.

For Transbay service from Alameda County, AC Transit will provide bus service from 19th Street Oakland, Lake Merritt, and Berkeley station. From West Oakland, Bus 14 will take passengers to Oakland City 12th Street and Bus 62 will take passengers to Lake Merritt and Fruitvale station, according to BART.
