A lucky lottery player in the South Bay won about $226,000 after matching the first five numbers in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing, according to the California Lottery.
The 5/5 ticket worth $226,328 was sold at the Safeway store at 840 E. Dunne Ave. in Morgan Hill, the lottery said.
In Southern California, another winning 5/5 ticket was sold at the Hero Market at 1160-B Old Woman Spring Blvd. in Yucca Valley.
The Mega Millions numbers in Tuesday's $760 million draw were 56, 66, 67, 68 and 69, with the Mega number 18.
There was no jackpot winner in Tuesday's draw. The pot for Friday night's Mega Millions draw rises to an estimated $825 million.
