Calling all Selena Gomez fans, the Disney star is producing a new Netflix series called “Thirteen Reasons Why” and needs help from budding actors in the North Bay.
Gomez and other producers are looking for extras and stand-ins of all ages and ethnicities to play roles as high school students, parents and coffee shop customers, to name a few. Footage is planned to be shot in Sebastopol, San Rafael and Vallejo, according to The Press Democrat.
Casting calls are scheduled for May 21 at the Sebastapol Center for the Arts and May 28 at 1175 Railroad Avenue, Building 1310, according to The Press Democrat.
The series is based on the bestselling young adult novel written by Jay Asher.
The acting and music star was just in the Bay Area on May 12 visiting Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park.
