A brush fire in Lake County prompted evacuations and destroyed several structures, Cal Fire said on Sunday.
The blaze, dubbed the Boyles Fire, broke out in Clearlake on Sunday afternoon. Cal Fire issued evacuation orders for areas near "Highway 53 on the west, Dam Road on the south, Boyles Avenue on the east, and 32nd Avenue on the north. "
Cal Fire said Monday morning the fire had burned 76 acres and was 30% contained.
According to Cal Fire, at least 30 structures were involved in the fire. Additionally, the agency said between 40 and 50 vehicles were lost.
Currently, 4,000 people are displaced, per Cal Fire.
Those impacted are advised to convene at the Twin Pine Casino, which has been established as an evacuation center. Shuttle buses have been set up to take folks to the casino.

Aurelio Jauregui is one of the many who have been displaced.
He's lived in Clearlake for 25 years and said he's anxiously waiting to see what's become of his home.

“Wow, very bad. Everything is closed down," he said. "For many years, all the histories of my family, all the things that my family see is gone."
Jauregui added that because everything happened so fast, he only had time to evacuate his wife, kids, dog, and a few possessions.
“Because the fire is coming to very close it [was] time to go away, ” he said.
The City of Clearlake is handling any animal evacuations.
According to Cal Fire, no injuries or deaths have been reported.
Governor Gavin Newsom announced that the state secured a Fire Management Assistance Grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to assist local officials. The grant would help ensure "vital resources" remain available and help suppress the Boyles Fire, per a news release.
“California is grateful for the Biden Administration’s ongoing support as our heroic firefighters and first responders work night and day to contain these challenging fires," Newsom said. "We’ll continue to work closely with our local and federal partners to safeguard lives and protect property.”
On Saturday, the governor issued a state of emergency in San Bernardino County as the Line Fire blazes through the region.
