Crews contain brush fires along Interstate 880 in Oakland

A pair of brush fires along Interstate 880 in Oakland are contained, firefighters said.

Crews on Friday afternoon responded to reports of vegetation fires between High Street and the Oakland Coliseum.

The Oakland Fire Department at 1:55 p.m. reported both incidents were under control.
