Police are looking for suspects in the murder of a father of four, who was robbed and killed while on his way to work.
Police say 42-year-old Gustavo Martinez was a few blocks from his Oakland apartment on his way to the Fruitvale BART station on Saturday when he was robbed of a small amount of cash and shot multiple times.
Oakland police Sgt. Sean Fleming says Martinez's wife was walking one of the couple's sons to a medical appointment later in the morning when she saw police and emergency personnel tending to her husband.
Martinez had two sons and two daughters, ranging in age from 5 to 18.
