A small plane crashed at San Carlos Airport on Tuesday morning but the two people onboard the aircraft did not require a trip to the hospital, San Mateo County sheriff's officials said.
The crash was reported shortly after 11:45 a.m. and responding deputies found wreckage from a small aircraft in the northeast area of the airport, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The deputies found two people at the scene who confirmed they were aboard the aircraft. They both suffered minor injuries but neither requested medical treatment or a trip to the hospital, sheriff's officials said.
The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the plane crash. No details about how the plane crashed were immediately available.
