Former president and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump appeared on Friday at a private fundraiser in Woodside.
The pricey afternoon reception ranges from $500,000 per couple to $150,000 per person for large donors, with photo opportunities priced between $35,000 and $70,000, according to the invitation. Regular attendees will pay between $3,300 and $10,000 to take part.
“You can bet the money he raises here he's going to take to the swing states as fast as possible," NBC Bay Area political analyst Larry Gerston said. "The question over the weekend, once these polls come in, does it represent a turning point and thereby make it more difficult for Trump to raise funds.”
According to the San Mateo County Republican Party, a We The People California event coincided with Trump's fundraiser. It commenced at 9 a.m., and rally-goers were asked to meet at El Camino Park, 155 El Camino Real, in Palo Alto.
Groups like Moms for America walked around the area and joined the "Trump Train" to Woodside to welcome the former president's motorcade.

Trump's plane arrived at San Francisco International Airport shortly after 1:40 p.m.
