Police are investigating a shooting that happened in San Francisco Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred just after 2:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Haight Street.
According to San Francisco police, their officers "arrived on scene and canvassed the area for potential victims and suspects to no avail."
"Through the course of the investigation, officers were advised a possible verbal argument led to shooting between parties," San Francisco police said in a statement.
Police said that there were no reports of injuries and no arrests have been made at this time.
No other details were released.
Authorities were asking the public to avoid the area of Haight Street and Masonic Avenue to the incident
