Police detained several people and recovered two replica firearms during an investigation Monday in San Leandro.
The police activity shut down the area of Doolittle Drive and Carden Street, where officially initially responded for a report of a person with a rifle. Officers were in the process of clearing the scene Monday afternoon.
Police said there is no threat to the public following the investigation. The replica firearms recovered by officers "closely resembled actual rifles," according to police.
