Police activity Friday morning shut down the area surrounding Third and Cesar Chavez streets in San Francisco, but the incident was resolved a short time later, according to police.
Details were not immediately available, but emergency crews also were at the scene, officials said.
The focus of the activity appeared to be in the 1600 block of Tennessee Street, in front of a hardware store, but police did not immediately confirm the exact location.
