A preliminary 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck near the Napa and Lake counties border early Tuesday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake, which struck at 12:01 a.m. was centered about 7.5 miles southeast of Middletown and 19.6 miles east-northeast of Windsor.
