A suspect was arrested at the San Francisco International Airport after attempting to injure several passing travelers with a knife, the airport said Friday.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. Friday when a man drove a vehicle to the airport and entered the terminal. He walked around the departure terminal and pulled out an "edged weapon," according to the San Francisco Police Department.
Three passengers were assaulted and treated for minor cuts and scrapes. All three victims were identified as adult males.
When officers arrived to the terminal, they arrested the suspect and took him into custody.
SFPD has not yet released the name of the suspect as charges are still pending and the investigation is ongoing.
