Cracked High-Rise Window in San Francisco's Financial District Secured

Building engineers secured a cracked window at a high-rise in San Francisco's Financial District Tuesday, according to the fire department.

No glass fell from the building at 350 Mission St., the fire department said.

Just after 9 a.m., the city's Department of Emergency Management instructed the public to avoid the area. The alert was lifted roughly four hours later.
