BART Transbay Tube reopens after closure due to NorCal earthquakes

BART resumed service through the Transbay Tube on Thursday after a series of strong earthquakes in Northern California prompted a stoppage and delays.

The tube reopened about an hour later.

The stoppage caused a major delay systemwide in all directions, BART said.

Riders should seek alternate means of transportation, the agency said.
