Cruise pitches plan to make amends amid allegations it misled investigators

Top executives with the driverless car company Cruise appeared before a judge with the California Public Utilities Commission on Tuesday. At issue is how Cruise plans to make amends in the wake of accusations the company attempted to hide details about an incident last year involving a Cruise driverless car that left a pedestrian seriously injured and hospitalized for more than three months.
