
San Francisco crews Monday morning knocked down a fire at a residential building that injured at least one person and prompted a brief shelter in place, according to the fire department.
The blaze ignited at about 5:20 a.m. in the 900 block of Valencia Street in the city's Mission district, fire officials said on social media.
One person was injured and taken to a hospital, fire officials said. Their condition was unknown.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
