More than 40 people were displaced Monday night after a two-alarm apartment fire in San Francisco, firefighters said.
The fire was reported on the third floor of a four-story apartment building at 400 Upper Terrace at around 8:45 p.m.
Two people were rescued but no injuries were reported, the San Francisco Police Department said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
