More than 800 sea lions have returned to the docks at San Francisco's Pier 39, marking the highest number in seven years.
The harbor master said the population boom is the result of a huge school of anchovy coming from the Farallon Islands.
The pier said sea lions have been a popular attraction since they first swarmed the docks after the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake.
