What Is Being Done to Make the Bay Area a Safe and Inclusive Environment for the Transgender Community?

Work to create a more inclusive and supportive community for the transgendered community is being done in the Bay Area. A few years ago, San Francisco officially designated the world’s first transgender cultural district. It encompasses six blocks in the Tenderloin District.
