Sheriff's deputies called after heated debate over flags at Sunol school

Alameda County sheriff’s deputies were called in to keep the peace at a school board meeting in Sunol Tuesday, but there was nothing peaceful about it. The heated debate was sparked by the district’s vote for a resolution that limits the display of flags on school grounds to the U.S. flag as well as California’s state flag.
