Southbound Monterey Highway in San Jose is closed from Skyway Drive to Branham Lane due to a collision involving a pedestrian, officials said in a tweet Sunday night.
The pedestrian is suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Officials are asking the public to avoid the area.
