Officers responded to a stabbing in Santana Row in San Jose on Friday night that left one person injured.
A man has died following a stabbing in Santana Row in San Jose on Friday night, police said Saturday.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the victim was stabbed in the 300 block of Santana Row.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. San Jose police said on Saturday morning that the victim died from his injuries.
They added that the incident is being investigated as San Jose's third homicide of 2025.
Olsen Drive from Winchester Boulevard to Hatton Street was closed while police investigated the incident. Officials advised people to avoid the area and asked motorists to use alternative routes.
