Stanford Solar Car Finishes Race Across Australia

Team finishes in top 10.

The Stanford team did not win, but they put on a good show. They finished a 3,000 km solar car race in Australia in the top 10. Pretty good considering there were 37 cars competing.

Stanford's solar car has completed its 3,000 km race across Southern Australia.

While the team has yet to update its Twitter, at last check, they were close to cruising across the finish line.

The crew finished somewhere between 7th and 10th place. Not bad, when you consider there were 37 teams competing.

The winner of the race was Tokai University of Japan.

You may remember Bob Redell previewed the solar car before the team left for Australia.
