A woman at a grocery store in Roseville was seen on surveillance video snatching items from another woman's purse, according to the Roseville Police Department.
The department posted a video clip on its Facebook page with the following words:
"Watch this grocery store purse pirate in action--this is why it's so important to keep your purse closed and under your control at all times. Never leave it out of your sight on the back of your chair in a restaurant or in your grocery cart, even for a few seconds."
The post goes on to say the suspect is connected to several similar thefts in grocery stores throughout Roseville. A Roseville detective has identified the suspect but the department was not publishing her name.
