Trayvon Martin Rally In Oakland

Parents Give Sons "The Talk" About Wearing Hoodies

Dozens of people gathered in front of Oakland's city hall to show their support for Trayvon Martin.

The 17 year old was allegedly shot and killed last month in Stanford, Florida by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman.

Zimmerman reportedly told police he followed Martin because he looked suspicious in a hooded sweatshirt and white tennis shoes.

"I just find myself praying more for him now. I've been kind of teaching my son to change his mentality about who he is and sometimes you are profiled by the way you're dressed," Dominica Zone said.

At noon Monday, there was a rally on the steps of San Francisco's city hall.

On Wednesday, there will be a rally at Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco.
