WATCH: Over $10,000 Worth of High-End Sunglasses Stolen From Santa Clara Store

Police are asking for the public's help identifying a burglary suspect seen in surveillance video stealing high-end sunglasses valued at more than $10,000 from a Santa Clara optometry center last month.

The suspect broke into Eye Boutique Optometry, 2817 El Camino Real, at about 7 a.m. on Oct. 5, police said. In the nearly three-minute video released Thursday, the suspect can be seen entering the business by slamming through a glass window with his body. He heads straight toward a glass display in the middle of the store and then places multiple pairs of sunglasses into a blue Walmart bag.

He then proceeds toward the back of the store and stuffs more sunglasses in the bag. Those sunglasses were on display beneath a sign for Prada glasses. Police did not specify which brands of sunglasses were stolen from the store.

The man wore a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes with a white trim and red heels, and a black cloth covering his mouth, authorities said.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Santa Clara Police Department.
