Walnut Creek First Responders Hold Active Shooter Drill

A week of active shooter simulations began Tuesday in Walnut Creek at John Muir Medical Center, a vacant building set to be torn down. The mock exercise was a way to train first responders while the hospital put its mass casualty plan to the test.
