The Golden State Warriors on Thursday announced that fans will be allowed back inside Chase Center beginning April 23.
Proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test administered within 48 hours of game time will be required.
The arena will be limited to 35% capacity.
"It’s a great day for Dub Nation," Warriors President Rick Welts said. "Today's the day that we have a path to reopen Chase Center."
The team will provide at-home COVID-19 testing kits for fans who purchase their tickets early enough.
Nick Osborne, general manager of the Mission Rock Bar and Grill near Chase Center, said they're more than prepared to finally welcome back fans.
"We feel like we’ve created an environment where our customers can feel safe and for that reason we’re hopeful that things are going to keep going in the right direction," Osborne said.
