Ever wonder what it's like to look at the Earth through the eyes of an astronaut? Well, now's your chance to find out.

Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky, actor Will Smith, and eight former  astronauts join forces to tell the extraordinary story of why life as we know it exists on Earth in a 10-part cinematic series premiering March 26 on the National Geographic Channel.

Among those participating are Dr. Mae Jemison. The former astronaut just celebrated the 25th anniversary of her mission to space aboard space shuttle Endeavour, making history as the first African-American woman to go to space. Jemison is joined in the special with fellow former astronauts Chris Hadfield, Jeff Hoffman, Jerry Linenger, Mike Massimino, Leland Melvin, Nicole Stott and Peggy Whitson.
