Heather Locklear was hospitalized near her home in California Thursday after her sister reportedly called 911 to report an emergency medical situation.
A hospital spokeswoman said the actress was conscious and that her condition was stable. She was expected to stay overnight.
"She is in no danger, and she's going to be just fine," Locklear's parents said, People reported.
Paramedics and officers from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department had responded to a 911 call placed at 2:05 p.m., a spokesman from the sheriff's department said.
When officers arrived at Locklear's home, paramedics were administering aid to her. She was then transported to Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
The former Melrose Place star had recently split from her fiancé Jack Wagner.
It was unclear what medical emergency she was admitted to the hospital, according to TMZ, law enforcement sources said the actress had combined alcohol and prescription drugs.
