Understanding Canada's response to Trump Administration's newly imposed tariffs
This week, President Donald Trump imposed new 25% tariffs on various products coming in from Canada and Mexico. In response, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said his government is willing to work with the U.S. but also imposed a 25% tariff on some US goods. NBC Bay Area’s Raj Mathai spoke with Rana Sarkar, consul general of Canada in San Francisco, to understand Canada’s response and the relationship between both countries.
