Nearly 100 fans were ejected and more than 30 were arrested during Sunday's National Football League game between the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers, an Alameda County sheriff's spokesman said Monday.
Authorities ejected 93 people, made 31 arrests and issued eight citations during the game at O.co Coliseum in Oakland on Sunday afternoon, sheriff's spokesman Sgt. J.D. Nelson said.
The game, which had a reported attendance of 55,300 people, ended with a surprising 24-13 victory for the Raiders over their Bay Area rivals.
Oakland is now 2-11 this season while the 49ers fell to 7-6.
The violence was not limited to the stadium. A shooting at a downtown San Jose bar was connected to the game, according to police.
