Not rain nor wind nor sleet nor snow in Tahoe should keep Oakland Raiders fans from packing the Coliseum stands this Sunday for the Broncos game, according to Raiders coach Tom Cable.
"We have two games here back to back, and the fact that we’re still in it, we need a little help," Cable told the Oakland Tribune. "The fact that we’re still in it, I think the fans can appreciate that fact, that the Oakland Raiders have something that they’re still playing for here at the end of the year. So we’re excited, we hope that we have a great crowd here to the next two weeks."
Yep, the Raiders are at home this Sunday for the Denver Broncos, and again next week against the Indianapolis Colts in a game that becomes enormously meaningful in the AFC wild card race should the Raiders beat the Broncos.
Several thousand tickets still remain for Sunday's 1:15 p.m. PST game. It would need to sell out by 1:15 p.m. PST Thursday to avoid a local television blackout.
