Canadian Women Win Curling, U.S. Suffers Second Straight Loss

Canada skip Jennifer Jones led her team to a second straight victory in women's Olympic curling Tuesday, a 9-3 victory over Sweden.

Sweden, the two-time defending champion, conceded after eight of 10 ends after Jones made all 16 shots with complete accuracy. It was the second shortened match for the Canadians, who crushed China 9-2 in seven ends Monday.

Like Canada, Switzerland and Russia are 2-0. The Swiss beat Denmark 7-6 and the Russians defeated the U.S. 9-6 for the Americans' second straight loss.

South Korea defeated Japan 12-7 in the other morning game. There are four games in the evening, when Canada has a bye.
