What day is it? I find myself asking that of someone everyday. I'm not the only one. My colleagues ask the same thing.
Our days are beginning to blur together. I don't remember what I did this morning.

After working 12 days straight, I was granted a half-day off on Sunday. I was planning to get a massage and go to bed at some insanely early hour, like 6 p.m. and sleep for 12 hours straight.
But that didn't happen. Two hours into my half-day off, I found out I secured a one-on-one interview with slopestyle snowboard gold medalist Sage Kotsenburg. I hurried back to Olympic park. The interview went great. It was probably one of the biggest reporting highlights in Sochi. That was worth giving up my half-day off.

Then today, another score. I interviewed Lake Tahoe's Jamie Anderson after she won gold for women's slopestyle snowboard. A Team USA sweep in that event! Jamie is so humble, warm and kind. I interviewed her during the Olympic trials last month and now that she's an Olympic gold medalist, she is still the same genuine person.
It's almost 11 p.m. and my day is not over yet. Next up, a one-on-one with Squaw Valley's Julia Mancuso! She's the most decorated American female Alpine skier.
I don't know what day it is, but I'm so excited to be doing these interviews!
Hopefully, I can just take a moment to breath. I am truly so thankful to be here.
