After six years on the market, San Francisco 49ers legend Jerry Rice has finally sold his home in Atherton, according to Realtor.com.
The 13,908-square-foot home had an original asking price of $22 million in 2007, but in the end sold for less than half that amount.
Realtor.com said the home sold for $9 million.
The custom built 1.2 acre estate was built in 2001.
It comes with all the bells and whistles of a mansion including a pool, a spa, a covered patio with an outdoor fireplace, a gym, a movie theatre and a game room.
